How to play

Everyone sits in a circle with both decks of cards shuffled and placed in one pile in the center of the circle. The first person proceeds to draw a card, the next person in the circle draws a card next. If the second card drawn is related to the first card drawn (the same value or suit) then both players drink the number of sips shown on their card (jack 11, queen 12, king 13, ace 14). If both players have the same number cards they have to drink double.

Here’s where the game gets a little tricky, it is the 3rd player who gets to count how many sips the players have taken and they are allowed to count as fast or slow as they want BUT if either the 1st or 2nd player finishes there drink before 3rd player has finished counting the 3rd player must down their own drink.

The 3rd player then draws a card from the deck if their card is related to either the 1st or 2nd players’ cards then all 3 have to drink the number of sips shown on the card and the 4th player counts how many sips they have taken.

Here’s an example round

Player 1: Draws a 4 of clubs

Player 2: Draws a 7 of clubs

Player 3: Counts to 7 (player 4 finishes at 4)

Player 3: Draws a 8 of diamonds

Player 4: Draws a 6 of diamonds

Player 5: Counts to 8

Player 5: Draws a king of diamonds

Player 6: Counts to 13 (player 3 stops at 8, player 9 stops at 6)

Player 1: Draws a 10 of hearts. The ring is broken so you start again.

Player 2: Draws a 9 of hearts

Player 3: Draws a 9 of clubs

(the cards are the same so player 4 counts double)

Player 4: Counts to 18 but player 3 finished his drink before player 4 stopped drinking so player 4 downs his drink.

…..The game continues in this order.
